Determining fees for higher education study academic programs in GTU
On the basis of „Law of Georgia on Higher Education“, article 8 of the Charter of LEPL Georgian Technical
University – approved by Order №133 of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia ( September 9,
2013), and Academic council Record №01-05-02/20 (September 20,2018), Academic Council of Georgian
Technical University enacted:
1. One year (60ECTS) tuition fee for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students enrolled on the basis of
Unified National Examinations / Unified Master’s Examinations shall be determined by the amount
of 2250 GEL.
2. On the basis of ‘Law of Georgia on Higher Education’ article 52 section 3, article 52 section 7 and
the order №224/N of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia (December 29, 2011) ‘The
Rule for submission and review of the documents required for high-school graduates/graduate
students/students with the purpose of study in the higher education institutions of Georgia without
passing unified national examinations/general graduate examinations one year (60 ECTS) tuition fee
in national currency (GEL) for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students enrolled in Georgian
Technical University shall be determined as follows:
Learning Language Bachelor’s Master’s
Georgian 2250 GEL 2250 GEL
Russian 3500 GEL 4000 GEL
English 9600 GEL 12000 GEL
3. One year (60 ECTS) tuition fee for Georgian citizen PhD students shall be determined by the
amount of 2250 GEL.
4. One year (60 ECTS) tuition fee for foreign citizen and non-citizen PhD students shall be determined
in national currency (GEL), according to the learning language: Georgian – 2250 GEL; Russian –
4500 GEL; English – 12000 GEL.
5. One year (60 ECTS) tuition fee for Learning Georgian Language programs shall be determined by
the amount of 2250 GEL
6. Article 2 and Article 4 of this decree becomes effective for students whose enrollment, status
restoration or mobility starts in the second semester 2018-2019 academic year.
7. Article 5 of this decree shall become effective from 2018-2019 academic year.
8. This decree can be appealed within the period of 1 month after publication in Tbilisi City Court. (6
